Ranny Police Station

Ranny Police Station was opened on 23.05.1724 (ME) as per GO. ROC/427/G dtd 02.12.1948 . Formally the police station was an out post of Pathanamthitta police station. The new building of Ranny police station was opened on 18.03.2004. Ranny Police station building government land in Survey No. 468/1 A1 of Thottamonkara in Ranny village. Total area of land acquired for the police station and police quarters are 1.67 acres. Police station and its premises situated in 34 cents of land in Survey no. 465/1 A1. Police qauarters and its premises situated in 1.30 acre of land in Survey No. 439/9-1.
